You rank on Google.
You are invisible on Maps.

Those are two different systems. Your blue-link position is earned with authority and content. Your map pack position is decided on proximity, prominence and relevance, and most of it lives on your Google Business Profile rather than your website. Which is why the fix usually starts in a place your developer never touches.

Most local SEO is sold by the unit

Pages, directories, reviews. All three are countable, which is why they get sold that way, and none of them is where a local ranking is actually decided. We know the first one intimately, because we ran a location page farm on this very site and then shut it down.

The location page farm

One page per city, spun from a template with the name swapped. We built one on this site and retired it, because near-duplicate pages tend to either rank for nothing or never get indexed at all. Volume is not a substitute for a reason to exist. We wrote up what ours returned.

The 500-directory package

Most of those directories have no users and no authority. What actually matters is a short list of Indian directories plus one consistent form of your name. Half the listings we audit say Pvt Ltd in one place and Private Limited in another, which is the real problem and it is free to fix.

The review campaign

Thirty reviews in a fortnight looks exactly like thirty reviews bought in a fortnight. Incentives and gated feedback both breach Google policy and are a common route to a suspended profile. Reviews should arrive at the pace your business actually finishes jobs.

The short list that moves map rankings

Local ranking runs on a different system from your blue-link position. Proximity you cannot change. Prominence and relevance you can, and there are perhaps five levers that matter.

Profile, before the website

Primary category is the single strongest relevance signal on a Google Business Profile, and it is the field most often set to something adjacent rather than correct. We fix categories, services, hours, service area, and description, then add real photographs. None of this needs your developer, and it can move rankings inside three weeks.

One name, everywhere

We choose the canonical form of your business name, address and phone number, then correct the listings that carry weight in India. That is a defined list, not a package of 500. Consistency is the signal; volume is not.

Reviews as a habit, not a push

We build a request flow tied to the moment a job finishes, so it keeps running after we leave. No incentives, no filtering of negatives, no writing them for you. Recency and steady flow beat a large old total, which is why a competitor with 200 stale reviews is beatable.

Pages built for the click you get

Map pack traffic lands on your profile or on one page of your site. If that page is a general homepage, the enquiry rate falls off a cliff. We build or rewrite the page that carries local intent, with the service, the area and the way to contact you visible without scrolling.

Numbers you can verify without us

Calls, direction requests, website clicks and enquiries, taken from your own profile insights. You can open the same screen we do. We do not send keyword position screenshots, because a position you cannot convert is not a result.

Multiple locations, without duplication

Branch pages fail when they are the same page with the city swapped, which is a mistake we have made ourselves and will not repeat on your site. Each location earns its own reason to exist or it does not get a page.

What changes in the first sixty days

In the order we do it, and roughly when you should expect to see it. Anyone quoting thirty days on a competitive local term should be asked what happens in week five when it has not moved.

Week 1 · The profile

Category, services, hours, service area, description, photographs. The cheapest work on the list and usually the fastest to show up in the map pack.

Week 2 · Citations

Pick the canonical name form, then correct the directories that matter here. Tedious, unglamorous, and it removes a ceiling nothing else can lift.

Weeks 3 to 5 · Reviews

Set up the request flow, train whoever runs it, and let it run at the pace of your actual work. We hand over the system rather than the reviews.

Weeks 4 to 8 · The landing page

Build or rewrite the page the map pack sends people to. This is where the enquiry rate moves, often more than the ranking does.

From week 4 · Reporting

Calls, directions, clicks and enquiries, monthly, from your own profile. If the number is flat we say so and tell you what we are changing.

Month 3 · The honest review

A quarter is long enough to tell whether local search is a viable channel for you. If it is not, we would rather say it than sell you a fourth month.

Pricing, and when to walk away

All prices exclude 18% GST. Monthly plans run a three-month minimum, because local rankings take a quarter to move honestly.

₹15,000 one-time

The audit. One location, ten working days. Profile and category audit, map pack ranking check across your area, citation consistency check, website local signal review, and a prioritised sixty-day plan in plain language. Credited against your first month if you start a plan within thirty days.

₹25,000 per month

The monthly plan. One location, three-month minimum. Profile management, local keyword and landing page work, citation building and cleanup, a review system your staff can run, and a monthly report on calls, directions and enquiries.

₹45,000 per month

Multi-location. Up to five locations. Everything in the monthly plan per branch, location pages that do not duplicate each other, per-branch review handling, and both consolidated and per-location reporting. Quoted per location beyond five, before you commit.

Worth booking if

Customers find you by searching a place plus a service. You have a location or a defined service area. Someone answers the phone. You can wait a quarter. Somebody on your side will send review requests.

Look elsewhere if

You sell nationwide online with no local component, in which case this is the wrong service. Your budget is under ₹15,000, in which case buy the audit once and do the work yourself. You need enquiries this month, in which case Google Ads buys visibility today and SEO does not. You want a guaranteed position, which nobody can sell honestly, because map rank depends partly on where the searcher is standing.

We work remotely, so the market matters more than the map

Two cities have their own page, because the search behaviour there needed its own answer rather than a template. If yours is not listed, nothing about the work or the price changes.

THE WORKING PROBLEM

The visible symptom is rarely the whole problem. These are the failure points we look for before recommending tools, tactics, or a rebuild.

Half-built profile
An incomplete Google Business Profile, wrong category, no photos, and missing hours quietly hands the map pack to whoever filled theirs out.
Review gaps
Four reviews from 2022 won't beat the competitor with 80 fresh ones. No review system means no momentum, and Google notices.
Inconsistent citations
Your name, address, and phone spelled three different ways across directories tells Google it can't trust which listing is real.
No service-area pages
One generic page can't rank for ten towns. Without real pages for each area you serve, you're invisible the moment someone adds a city name.
Missing local schema
No LocalBusiness markup means Google has to guess your hours, location, and service area instead of reading them straight off the page.
Clunky on mobile
Most local searches happen on a phone mid-errand. A slow, hard-to-tap site loses the call before the page even loads.

WHAT THE SCOPE INCLUDES

Not a one-time cleanup. A local presence that keeps earning calls, directions, and walk-ins after the work is done.

What changes after

  • Google Business Profile fully optimized: category, services, photos, posts, Q&A
  • Citation audit and cleanup so your NAP matches everywhere
  • Dedicated service-area pages for each town and service you offer
  • LocalBusiness and service schema deployed and validated
  • A review-generation system that asks happy customers at the right moment
  • Local keyword targeting built around what nearby buyers actually type
  • Competitor map-pack analysis so you know exactly who to beat
  • Monthly rank tracking by location with a plain-English report

HOW THE WORK MOVES

Four steps to local dominance

The work follows a clear sequence, so you can see what happens before, during, and after implementation.

  • 01 Local audit we check your profile, citations, reviews, and rankings against the businesses already winning your map pack, so we fix the real gaps first.
  • 02 Profile & citations Your Google Business Profile gets fully built out, and your NAP gets corrected across every directory that matters.
  • 03 Content & schema Service-area pages and LocalBusiness schema go live so Google knows exactly where you operate and what you do.
  • 04 Monitor & reviews We track rankings by location and run a review system that keeps fresh five-star feedback coming in.

BUILT AROUND THE OUTCOME

How local SEO gets you found nearby

Local SEO puts your business in the Google map pack and the 'near me' results your customers actually search. It's a different game from national SEO, driven by proximity, prominence, and relevance, and we optimize all three.

Google Business Profile
We optimize your profile end to end: categories, services, posts, photos, Q&A, and attributes, so you show up in the map pack and Maps for the searches that bring in calls and visits.
Citations and NAP
Consistent name, address, and phone across directories and local citations builds the trust Google needs to rank you. We clean up duplicates and wrong listings that quietly hold you back.
Reviews and local content
A steady review flow and location-relevant pages signal prominence and relevance. We set up a review system and build the local content that wins service-area and city searches.

DECISION QUESTIONS

Local SEO Services FAQ

These answers cover fit, scope, delivery, and ownership before we discuss a proposal.

What is included in local SEO?

Local SEO covers Google Business Profile optimization, local citations and NAP consistency, review generation, on-page local signals, location and service-area pages, and local link building. Together they help you rank in the map pack, Google Maps, and organic 'near me' results for your area.

How long does it take to rank in the map pack?

Newer profiles or competitive cities can take 3 to 6 months to reach the top of the map pack. Established businesses with a clean profile often see movement in weeks. Proximity, review velocity, and category relevance drive how fast you climb, and those are exactly what we work on first.

Do you optimize my Google Business Profile?

Yes, and it's usually the highest-leverage work. We set the right primary and secondary categories, complete every field, add services and geo-tagged photos, publish posts, seed the Q&A, and fix any suspensions or duplicate listings. A fully optimized profile often outranks a bigger competitor with a half-filled one.

Can you help a multi-location or service-area business?

Yes. Multi-location businesses get a profile and location page per branch with consistent but non-duplicated content. Service-area businesses that travel to customers get the profile configured for service areas rather than a storefront, plus city and service pages that target each area you cover.

Do online reviews affect local rankings?

Yes. Review count, rating, velocity, and even keywords in reviews all feed local prominence, and they heavily influence whether someone clicks you over a competitor. We set up a simple system that asks happy customers at the right moment and helps you respond to every review, positive or negative.

How soon will I see local SEO results?

Google Business Profile changes can show within a couple of weeks, while citation cleanup and review building compound over 2 to 3 months. Competitive markets take longer, but local SEO tends to deliver faster, more measurable returns than national SEO because the competition set is smaller.

YOUR NEXT USEFUL STEP

Your customers are searching locally right now

Let's get you into the map pack and turn nearby searches into calls, directions, and bookings.

Discuss your project

Share the current site, the business constraint and the result you need. You will get a written scope before work starts.

Local search questions, answered.

Timelines, guarantees, suspensions, access, and whether this is worth it alongside ads.

Ready to start? Send your business name and city and you will get the two things worth fixing first, before you pay anything.

How long before we see something?

Profile corrections can move map rankings inside two to three weeks, because you are fixing relevance rather than earning authority. Citation and review work compounds across a quarter. The honest version is that the fast part is fast and the rest is not.

Do you guarantee the top of the map pack?

No, and neither can anyone else. Map ranking varies with where the person searching is standing, so there is no single position to guarantee. What we commit to is a complete profile, consistent citations, a working review flow, and a page that converts the clicks you already get.

Our profile is suspended. Can you help?

Sometimes, and it is separate work billed separately. Suspensions usually trace to a category, an address that fails verification, or a name stuffed with keywords. We look first and tell you whether reinstatement is realistic before quoting anything.

Do we have to hand over our Google login?

No. You add us as a manager and we work from that. You keep ownership, you can remove access in one click, and if we part ways you lose nothing. We apply the same rule to your website.

Is this worth it if we already run Google Ads?

Usually yes, because ads cannot occupy the map pack. The honest caveat is that if your ads are already profitable and your budget is fixed, putting the next rupee into ads is often the faster return. We will tell you when that is the case.

Why should we trust an agency that admits it got something wrong?

Because the alternative is one that never measured. We ran a location page strategy on our own site, measured what it returned, and stopped selling it. The write-up is public, so you can judge the reasoning rather than take our word for the conclusion.
